Note — I am a LUNA (Let me try another note-taking app) guy and keep prancing around as soon as I find a faster, better alternative to handle my complex needs.
Here I am using #zettelkasten framework
For fleeing notes
- Aptly named Fleeting Notes app (fastest way to capture)
- Microsoft OneNote (for collating all media inputs)
- Readwise (capturing raw highlights from all input source
- Ample Note (for turning fleeting notes to actionable items.)
For Literature Notes
- Notenik (Open source, Native Txt and MD format, export friendly)
- Tinderbox (No other app handles complexity as well as this app does.
For Atomic Notes and Permanent Notes
Again Notenik (No lockdown, plain MD files which can be accessed anywhere can be exported to epub and loads of other formats including OPML)
